Evolution or degradation?

Spiritual growth. Belief is preferred instead of knowledge.

Intellectual development. Still billions believe in medieval dogmas and gods.

Ecology. Totally fucked. Waste, deforestation and drying of wetlands change climate.

Economy. Mostly wastage and irrational use of resources without recycling.

Poverty. Despite overproduction millions starve and billions make ends meet.

Peace. Wars never end and politicians prepare for new.

Technology can’t solve challenges humanity faces.

Environmental crisis will hinder economy growth.

Stupidity is the main threat.

Meditation is the key.

Religion is cancer

Religion is ideology. Ideology produces politics and politics shapes religion. Religion is not separated from state and never was. Religion = politics.

Main harm religion does is that it gives wrong conception of the world. It lies from the beginning of times. From early childhood you are influenced by beliefs and rituals. You are given no choice. Your religion depends on family and social pressure. Offering and promising something somewhere for the fulfillment of certain rules and imitation of parasite-preachers, religion confuses heads of believers and turns them into a submissive and inadequate amorphous mass.

Religion proves nothing. Belief has nothing to do with objective reality. Religion cheated humanity by creating own philosophy called theology to monopolize interpretation of god and existence. Religions create conflicts, competition, intolerance and do not promote peace, inhibit progress and dull the intellectual abilities of people. Proven by history and the present.

After all shit happened – science developed. Science didn’t explain everything but it broke religious dogmas and revealed lies. Science also proved that most humans don’t want to grow, learn and think. The most stupid thing in life that you can do is to believe in something without knowing or understanding anything. No matter how hard you believe, it does not confirm or prove anything - nonsense as it is. Replacing knowledge with faith is the worst crime against humanity, against oneself.

2.5 billion Christians and 2 billion Muslims and 1 billion Hindus. Why Buddhism and Taoism are not so popular? Guess what, they do no give cozy belief! When you have ready answers, you won’t seek and challenge dogmas. That’s theology – hiding truth.

Civilization

What is human without civilization? Hominidae. Ape - a monkey.

Is civilization a natural process? Tribalism is certainly natural, as we can observe in remote parts of Earth, but it is not civilization as we mean it. If civilization is evolutional process, why some tribes still live naked in huts without philosophy and science? Development of civilization needs knowledge, intrusion.

You are not so clever and unique, because you are better than others. You got to that level, because of tremendous efforts of different people from different epochs and social backgrounds. They made environment to develop you. Nobody is superior and nobody is inferior.

Whether you become homo sapiens or homo debilitas depends on you. Society takes, but it also gives. Civilization increases opportunities for growth.

Who am I?

When comes the moment one feels like a child and family member?

Coming to this world how infant identifies himself?

You say I, but who is I? Is I a body?

Is I a person, created with “help” of society?

Is it your name? Could you have another?

What is human? What is people? What is nation? What is country? What is religion?

If you knew yourself when being infant, when did you forget it?

First parent’s and relatives shape you. Then friends influence you.

School trashes head with patriotism and ideology.

Society introduces you to religion, politics, parties.

Opinion on good and evil one gets from morality.

One gathers knowledge whole life. It’s power, but is it true?

There are no friends, no enemies.

Love exists, but it needs no one.

I don't belong to a nation. I am not a people.

I am not a name, not a document, not a brand.

There is a family, but I have my own path.

I am not a body, yet I don't know.

I am eternal, yet I don't know.

There is present, the past is behind, the future is unknown. Here and now.

Action-reaction is the wrong path. Consciousness in action is the right path.

Causes of fear - possible losses. Everything suffers, gets sick, dies.

concentration - contemplation - meditation

animal instinct - human intellect - intuition

body - mind - spirit

Death

Death is following you like a shadow. But to be true it follows only your body. World is not a safe and cozy place. Anything can happen any moment. You don’t know what will happen next second. What to say about tomorrow? Present moment is everything you can influence right now. Being is all that is. Present will bear future. Carpe diem et memento mori.

Spiritual reading and listening

If philosophy does not help to solve life problems and calm the mind, it is useless.

One knows or don’t. If you believe, you prove yourself stupid and incapable. Doubt!

How to make suicide properly?

At first place why make suicide? It’s simply illogical. Are you born, brought up, educated and so on and so forth just to finish life at some point? Looks fucking stupid, isn’t it? Where is ultimate sense of existence here? We can suppose that life has no purpose but still what kind of goal or achievement suicide is?

If life is meaningless what the point to reproduce, waste time and energy? Do we need global annihilation to stop the vicious circle of pain and suffering? And why look for meaning at all? Being is pretty enough to itself. Presence and experiences make existence interesting.

What makes one to think about finishing own life? Pain and emotions. Source of this pain is stupidity. You are so unconscious, so asleep, so overwhelmed with emotions, that you can’t take rational approach and see different possibilities and in most cases hilarity of situation. Illusion about unbearable emotional state becomes so strong that one prefers to die instead of simply chill a little bit, contemplate and meditate over.

Death is the only guarantee in life. Body will die anyway, no matter what, in one day, in few days, in few years, in 10 years, in 50 years… For most people death is the most frightening experience. Worth from death may be painful death. Failure is not a good reason to finish life, because it will be finished anyway with all the mess one does. When alive one can make mistakes and try to improve. When you fell, simply stand up and go on trying not to repeat same shit again. Don’t worry, don’t hurry, be happy.
