Primary principles of life

1. Memento Mori (Remember You Will Die) – A reminder of mortality, often used to inspire focus on what truly matters. Stoicism, medieval art, and even modern minimalism touch on this. Mortality & Impermanence. The awareness that life is finite forces us to focus on what truly matters, avoiding distractions and regrets.

2. Sense of Life – The meaning we attach to our existence. This ties into existentialism, spirituality, and personal fulfillment. Meaning & Purpose. Without purpose, existence feels empty. Whether it's through love, creativity, service, or personal growth, we seek meaning.

3. Learning, Improving, Self-Development – A lifelong pursuit of knowledge, skills, and character growth. Classic self-improvement meets philosophy here. Growth is essential. Learning and evolving give us a sense of progress, resilience, and mastery over our lives.

They apply to everyone. Regardless of background or beliefs, we all face mortality, search for meaning, and grow through experience. They create balance. Awareness of death keeps us grounded, purpose drives us forward, and self-improvement ensures we evolve. They shape every decision. From daily habits to major life choices.
